Bailey Anderson

Bailey Anderson is a rising junior at Barnard College of Columbia University, where she is pursuing a degree in Political Science and Art History with a minor in Native American and Indigenous Studies.
Originally from Oklahoma, Bailey is passionate about advancing justice reform, preserving cultural heritage through archival research, and supporting Indigenous language revitalization efforts. Her academic interests are rooted in understanding how history, policy, and representation shape communities and opportunities for future generations.
A Dean’s List scholar and former high school valedictorian, Bailey is deeply engaged in campus life. She is actively involved in student leadership, contributes to research initiatives, and is a member of Columbia Cheerleading. Through these experiences, she has developed a strong commitment to collaboration, service, and community building.
Bailey brings intellectual curiosity, a thoughtful perspective, and a dedication to learning to all of her endeavors. She is particularly interested in exploring the intersections of policy, culture, and equity, and hopes to pursue opportunities that allow her to make a meaningful impact in these areas.
Outside of academics and extracurricular activities, Bailey enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Tic Tac and Ruby.
