Tweeps Phillips Woods is a Manager for Advisory, a veteran policy advisor and project manager with extensive and diverse experience in both the public and private sectors.

Tweeps successfully campaigned and was elected to the Cold Spring Village Board of Trustee’s and has served as Deputy Mayor since 2021. Tweeps was Director of Business Development for 5 years for the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts, responsible for development of new business and university relationships as well as local and national events for members and students. Previously, Senior Advisor at DalyGonzalez, a boutique consulting firm specializing in services for non-profits arts and education organizations. Prior to her work with DalyGonzalez Woods worked with Civic Entertainment as a Senior Manager on “Shining a Light” a concert, education, and grant program to bring awareness and start a national conversation on race in America.  Tweeps also served as Executive Director for the Committee for Taxi Safety.

Tweeps’ tenure in City government included serving as the Director of Special Projects for the New York Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC) as advisor and project manager for the First Deputy Commissioner advising on key policy issues for the taxi and limousine industries as well as city-wide transportation initiatives.

Prior to joining the TLC, Tweeps worked as Policy Advisor in the Mayor’s Office of Operations where she served on a team of in-house consultants that reported to the Deputy Mayor for Economic Development and managed complicated multi-agency/citywide projects including the 2nd Avenue Subway. Tweeps also worked at the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation where she managed multi-million-dollar park, housing and economic development projects in Brooklyn including the redesign/development of Coney Island Park, Williamsburg and Greenpoint rezoning and Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Tweeps holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Columbia University and earned a Bachelor’s degree from the Macalester College, in St. Paul Minnesota where she majored in Political Science and Mass Communication.
