Shiny Chu is a director for Coqual’s Advisory Services where she helps clients from all sectors craft actionable plans to create value through bespoke DE&I strategies. Most recently, Shiny was at DataKind, a data science nonprofit. She also worked in Dubai as a consultant where she helped develop a multimillion-dollar startup business plan, redesigned a major nonprofit’s business model, and led the operationalization of several international days at Expo 2020.

Prior to this, she was an intern for Congresswoman Torres, a law clerk, and a research assistant at the Burkle Center for International Relations. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and History with a minor in Global Studies from UCLA. In her spare time, Shiny enjoys traveling, photography, and hiking.
