Senior Associate, Advisory Services

Marisol is a senior associate on the advisory team at Coqual. Prior to joining the Company, Marisol (aka Wabi-Sabi) worked at Partners International, MediaMath, and Disney providing executive-level support to their C-suite stakeholders while leading the charge in creating inclusive cultures.

Marisol is also an active community leader at Burning Man having gone five times in 10 years. In her first year, she created Jobs For Burners when she realized there was a resource need for the creative community to find jobs suited to their skillsets and backgrounds. It has since grown into a community of over 40k participants through which she continues to develop leaders, teaches artists to have healthy conversations arounds careers and finances, and is a strong advocate not only for creating workspaces where people can be their most authentic selves, but encouraging people of all backgrounds to bring their full identities into their career development. This year, she is co-creating the first Burning Man Multicultural POC Neighborhood which will be a global cultural showcase and safe space for BIPOC participants. Her current role is creating a foundation of trauma-informed conflict resolution services and guiding principles.

Marisol has BA in Psychology with a minor in English from Hunter College.
