Laura is currently President & CEO, Canlak Coatings. Canlak is a portfolio company of SK Capital Partners and leading formulator and manufacturer of high quality wood coating systems. Prior to joining Canlak, Laura started her career as a Technical Service Engineer at Akzo Nobel, formally National Starch & Chemical Company. She quickly transitioned from technical to commercial management roles. She has since held several leadership roles as Global Business Development Director at Henkel, Regional President at Castrol Americas for BP, and Chief Commercial Officer at Matrix Adhesives Group. Laura’s global experience crosses over multiple industries including specialty chemical, consumer goods, and energy. Throughout her career, Laura has been recognized for her ability to transform business units, expand market share, and cultivate high performing teams. She has a diverse perspective from working in public, private and non profit sectors.
