Arpan is executive vice president, head of advisory for Coqual. He is a seasoned leader with over 17 years of experience in areas of organizational culture, learning and development, and transformational change with a focus on DE&I and ESG. Arpan is best known for his empathetic leadership style, creative thinking, and passion for engaging people to create positive change.

Prior to joining Coqual, Arpan served as the Global Head of Culture for KPMG International. In this capacity, he helped KPMG to build and cultivate a purpose-led culture aligned with the firm’s growth goals, and helped to bring this to life across member firms in 145 countries, touching over 220,000 people.

Arpan has worked across a variety of industries including financial services, healthcare and life sciences and technology, media, and telecom. Arpan holds a degree in Statistics and Economics from Columbia University and London School of Economics. In his time outside of work, Arpan teaches courses at Columbia University’s graduate program for Enterprise Risk Management. He lives with his husband Neil, and their six-year-old toy poodle, Newman. They divide their time between New York City and Connecticut.
