Allegra is the director of outreach & partnerships at Coqual. She joined Coqual to be part of the solution in bringing about a more equitable world. She knows that it is within our collective interest to diversify workplaces and create safe spaces for dialogue, creativity and innovation.

Allegra is a fashion and style enthusiast and prior to Coqual, she enjoyed a career working in luxury fashion retail at the likes of Barneys, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue. It was in this industry that she realized the lack of representation of marginalized groups in executive roles. Allegra has always been aware of the contribution that BIPOC and LGBTQ individuals have made to the fashion industry. As a retail manager and people leader, Allegra used her position to advocate for her team members and focused on building a space where they each belonged and felt free to bring their whole self to work. Some of her proudest moments are seeing the team members who she’s led, mentored, and recruited grow in their roles and accomplish their goals.

Allegra loves to meet new people and engage in real conversations. She is an avid traveler and thinks that experiencing other cultures is the key to understanding the richness that diversity brings to our lives. TESOL certified, she taught English as a second language in Milan, Italy for two years after college.

In her free time, Allegra loves trying new foods and recipe experimenting with her daughter.
