Senior Associate, Research
Emily Eaton is a senior research associate at Coqual. She provides support for Coqual’s groundbreaking research studies and works across all pillars. Before joining Coqual, she worked for the Volcker Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering public sector workers. Emily holds a bachelor’s degree in global studies from the University of Minnesota, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with high honors. As an undergraduate, Emily wore many hats: opinion columnist, research assistant, and student advocate. She successfully published her senior capstone, Pandilleros y Politicos: Cyclical Violence in El Salvador, following her graduation.
Outside of work, Emily spends her free time playing with an LGBTQ+ soccer league, frequenting her local bookstore, and attempting to finish the New York Times mini-crossword as quickly as possible.
