Jennifer Brown

Executive Advisor

“ Sustainable change doesn’t come from statements or frameworks alone—it comes from leaders understanding their role in the systems they steward, and choosing to show up differently within them.”

Jennifer Brown is Executive Advisor at Coqual, where she serves as a strategic advisor to organizations navigating cultural complexity, leadership accountability, and large-scale change. As an external advisor, she partners with senior leaders and internal teams to translate research and insight into practical strategies that strengthen trust, effectiveness, and belonging at work.

With more than 20 years of experience advising global organizations, Jennifer brings deep expertise in leadership development, organizational culture, and DEI strategy. Her work focuses on helping institutions move beyond performative efforts toward durable change—by clarifying expectations of leaders, aligning systems with stated values, and building the skills required to lead across difference in polarized environments.

Jennifer has advised and worked with organizations including L’Oréal, Toyota, and the Boys & Girls Clubs, supporting executive teams, ERGs, and transformation initiatives at moments of growth, tension, and recalibration. She is known for her ability to hold complexity, surface uncomfortable truths with care, and help leaders take responsibility for the influence they hold.

She is the Wall Street Journal bestselling author of four books on leadership and change and the host of The Will to Change podcast, where she explores how leaders are evolving their approaches to power, culture, and responsibility in today’s workplace.
