Angela is the director of research at Coqual, where her goal is to make the research and production processes as efficient as possible for the team.

Angela received her bachelor’s in English Literature and Political Science from the University of Chicago and her master’s in creative writing from NYU. She has previously worked as a magazine editor, translations editor, upscale chicken restaurant waitress, creative writing lecturer, and ed-tech professional. Outside of her work with Coqual, Angela likes to organize community-building readings and events in the literary community and volunteers her time for the Asian American publication Hyphen. In her free time she is an avid reader of poetry and fiction.
