Mei has more than a decade of experience in planning and managing conferences, meetings, galas, performances, and events of every size, ranging from ten people to more than a thousand. She has worked at many nonprofit and education organizations, including Jersey Cares, Children’s Literacy Initiative, Young Survival Coalition, and most recently, Kean University. At Coqual she is in charge of researching and securing venues, planning and managing Coqual’s events calendar, assisting with event marketing, and monitoring schedules and budgets.
During her free time, she loves to travel. She has visited more than 42 US states and ten countries, with Italy, Egypt, and Thailand as the top stamps in her passport. She hopes to soon reach all 50 states and explore the whole world. Mei is passionate about giving back to her community and volunteers regularly with Jersey Cares and New York Cares. She earned her bachelor’s degree in behavioral science at Drew University and has a master’s degree in public administration from Kean University.
