Jyoti is the managing director of Coqual, with more than 15 years of experience leading teams for the success of the organization. For Jyoti, data and analytics are crucial DE&I tools because they remove bias from the equation. Her passions lie in using research, data, and analytics to create innovative business solutions, and in helping organizations best deploy and serve their talent population. Jyoti thrives on finding ways to break complex problems into smaller components and making issues easier to understand, study, and ultimately solve. At Coqual, Jyoti focuses on gathering data from internal and external stakeholders, translating data into insights, and leveraging findings to develop strategies to enhance talent.
Before coming to Coqual, Jyoti was part of the Global Strategy Group at the National Basketball Association, and she has worked with Bain & Company, PUMA North America, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Spare-time activities include reading, doing indoor spinning, playing and creating board games, swimming, and traveling.
Jyoti holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She side hustles as an adjunct professor at Columbia, where she uses her sports and data expertise to teach sports business analytics course curriculum to students in the Master of Sports Management program.
