Senior Associate, Outreach and Partnerships

The Role

Coqual is searching for an enthusiastic Senior Associate with excellent planning skills to assist our organization in supporting our Task Force community. The Senior Associate, Outreach and Partnerships will be tasked with providing technical support to the outreach team, receiving and processing requests from vendors/potential members, assisting with gathering company background information, marketing events, and delivering on event brief objectives. Your creativity, organizational skills, and vision will bolster the engagement team’s effort to improve our organization’s growth through events and offerings that effectively communicate our new ideas, our strategy, and Coqual’s brand personality.
The ideal candidate for this role should demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities, an entrepreneurial spirit, a great mind for planning, superb interpersonal skills, ability to multi-task, and excellent time management. This role is suited for someone who is an active listener, detail oriented, a comprehensive note taker, data driven, and an inquisitive thinker.

Responsibilities include:

  • Calendaring and organizing Task Force client meetings; attending meetings and driving follow-up by providing comprehensive notes and actionable to-dos
  • Maintaining and socializing an effective customer relationship management system (CRM), utilizing CRM to pull and analyze data
  • Analyzing and tracking Task Force engagement and requests from members
  • Maintaining breadth and depth of understanding of Coqual research
  • Developing feedback surveys
  • Contribute to the development of segmenting and tracking tools to monitor membership goals and prioritize opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with several teams, including events, research, and communications
  • Other responsibilities as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred
  • Creative, focused, results-oriented self-starter
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and operating systems
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) with strong PowerPoint capabilities
  • Effective and flexible communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
  • Highly detail-oriented and accurate in approach and execution
  • Creative problem-solving skills, with ability to contribute to client-oriented solutions
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients
  • Thrive working both independently and collaboratively within a team structure
  • Solid organizational and time management skills, with ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Strong interest in Coqual’s mission is essential
